60 YEARS
Fr. William Hartenbach, C.M.
Born in 1937 in St. Louis, MO, Fr. Hartenbach entered the community in 1955, professed vows in 1960, and was ordained in May 1964. He served on the faculty and administration at seminaries in California, Missouri, and Illinois, was Provincial from 1996 to 2002 and later Director of the Daughters of Charity in Indiana. He is currently a member of the Apostles of Prayer Ministry at St. Mary’s of the Barrens in Perryville, MO. “I am grateful for all of the care and support I have received.”
50 YEARS
Fr. Robert Brockland, C.M.
Born in St. Louis in 1947, Fr. Robert Brockland, C.M., joined the Vincentians in 1965 and was ordained in June 1974. He has served on the faculty at seminaries and in parochial work and now serves in the Prayer Ministry at St. Mary’s of the Barrens in Perryville. “I thank God for the awesome Providence that he has worked in my life and in my priesthood. I also thanked the Blessed Mother for watching over me and guiding me in all my endeavors, especially in theology.”
Fr. Robert Lucas, C.M.
Born in Palos Park, IL, in 1947, Fr. Robert Lucas, C.M., joined the Vincentians in 1965 and was ordained in June 1974. He served in Japan in 1974-76, follows by parochial ministry in Illinois, Missouri, and Colorado and was a hospital chaplain from 1987 to 2016. He currently serves as chaplain at Franciscan Village in Lemont, IL. “I am amazed at the number of people I have ministered to over the years.”
Fr. David Windsor, C.M.
Fr. David Windsor, C.M., was born in Oak Park, IL, in 1937, joined the Vincentians in 1969 and was ordained in June 1974. He has spent most of his ministry as an academic administrator in California, Belgium, and Washington, DC, and has also worked as a counselor, professor, and formation director. He currently lives and works in Chicago. “I owe so much to the seminarians and priests I have served with over the years, because they have taught me to be a better man.”
25 YEARS
Fr. Hoan Ngoc Nguyen, C.M.
Fr. Nguyen, C.M., was born in Ngoc Dong, Vietnam, in 1949, entered the community in August 1993 and was ordained in 1999. He has worked in prison ministry, Vietnamese ministry, as a chaplain, and as an associate pastor. He serves in Los Angeles as chaplain for the Vincentian Association for Vietnam, Hotel Dieu Senior Residence, and Our Lady of Angels Sisters Home. He said Vincentians must be multifaceted. “In order to become an effective Vincentian, you must know everything.”
