The 2024-25 Parish Appeal for the Congregation of the Mission Western Province supports three important initiatives:
A new program in Kenya provides technical skills training for girls and young mothers in the Komarock region of Kenya. For young women who have dropped out of school for various reasons, the program is designed to build skills and education and the ability to earn stable income and provide a route out of poverty.
Vincentian priests and brothers devote their lives to St. Vincent’s mission on behalf of the poor and abandoned. Today, more than 50 Vincentians receive care and support from the province, including 30 at the Apostle of Charity Residence in Perryville, MO. Even as they remain active in ministry, your support provides medical care, housing, and adaptive equipment and technology.
Finding, attracting, and educating the next generation of Vincentians is an ongoing and critical need for the Western Province. Supporting our vocations and formation programs provides housing, education, and spiritual formation for these men as they prepare to evangelize the poor and continue St. Vincent’s mission into the future.
